The Cloud Monitoring Initiative consists of cloud service users who provide Systems Watch availability data points for some of the largest cloud providers in realtime. It is a collective effort of many diverse user groups in numerous regions to provide a good reference of the state of cloud health.
To become a member of the Cloud Monitoring Initiative you must be using cloud services and be willing to help send Systems Watch basic data showing your availability from your specific zone and cloud service. You must be willing to guarantee best effort on keeping your particular monitoring point up and running at all times. Membership does not cost anything.
The Cloud Monitoring Initiative was created by Systems Watch to offer another way for users of the Cloud to when experiencing issues understand if other users are as well. Also to collect data for historical reference, on overall cloud services health.
